Ferguson is currently seeking a Valve Technician to join our Valve & Automation Team! If you enjoy working with your hands, learning new things every day & challenging your mechanical skill then this job is for you!

Scheduled: Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

Responsibilities:

Assemble and build manual valves into automated valves.
Evaluate valves for repair and qualify repair opportunities.
Support our team in the field by performing fast turnarounds.
May be responsible for providing back-up driver duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Previous experience operating machinery for fabrication and the use of cutting and drilling materials preferred.
Valve assembly and/or valve repair experience is preferred.
Must have excellent mechanical skills and willingness to learn new things.
Demonstrate basic math skills, ability to calculate quantities of product on hand.
Ability to remain results-focused in a fast-paced customer service environment.
Be a proponent of working in a safe environment and promote safety everyday.
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid state issued license is required.
Must currently, have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.

Pay Range:

$17.41 - $26.11

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
